Diesel Design

Fuel Tank
The MB Chassis comes with a 60-, 80- or 90-gallon rectangular steel fuel tank mounted between the rails for increased safety and reduced fuel stops.
Lowered Engine Position
A lowered engine position provides a flat floor in the cockpit area, enabling drivers to safely move from cockpit to passenger area without having to step over a “doghouse.”
Viscous Fan Clutch
The MB's viscous fan clutch only activates when triggered by engine temperature, which means you get where you are going faster. It also reduces load on the engine, provides more available horsepower and increases fuel economy – all with less engine noise.
Engine and Exhaust Brakes

Exhaust Brakes
Exhaust brakes offer increased brake and tire life as well as greater vehicle control by slowing the vehicle under stress conditions quickly and safely.
- Cummins VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo)
- Provides exhaust braking without additional add-on hardware in the exhaust system
- Eliminates exhaust brake maintenance
- Reduces wear on service brakes
- Available on select Cummins engines
